Champagne Drappier chef de cave joins Nicolas Feuillatte
By Patrick SchmittChampagne Drappier’s Guillaume Roffiaen has joined The Centre Vinicole – Champagne Nicolas Feuillatte (CV-CNF) as its director of winemaking and quality.

Roffiaen studyed agricultural engineering and agribusiness at the Institut Superieur d’Agriculture in Lille and then oenology in Reims, where he gained a national diploma in winemaking.
As part of his final oenology studies, in 2002 Roffiaen worked alongside Jean-Pierre Vincent, who, at that time, was chief winemaker at CV-CNF, the cooperative which produces Nicolas Feuillatte – France’s largest Champagne brand.
He subsequently joined the team at Champagne Drappier, where he worked for 12 years as cellar master at the respected producer.

As director of winemaking and quality at the CV-CNF, he will focus on overseeing quality throughout the winemaking process.
He will also be responsible for research and development, leading the winemaking committee and working in close collaboration with chief winemaker David Henault, who will also form part of his team, carrying out the blends and coordinating all wine-related internal and external communications.
