Pancho Campo given regular radio slot

Wine commentator and event organiser Pancho Campo has been given a regular slot on station Talk Radio Europe to discuss wine and food.

Since July this year, Campo has been appearing on Talk Radio Europe discussing his passions, primarily Spanish wine and food, as well as racquet sports – Campo was a professional tennis player.

In an email to db yesterday, Campo explained that an increasing audience on the radio station had prompted the producers to create a one-hour weekly programme called Pancho’s Wine and Food, which the FM station will be promoting using flyers (pictured below).

The show is now being broadcast every Monday from 7.00 to 8.00pm Spanish time and can also be heard online at www.talkradioeurope.com.

Media adverts, flyers and posters have been produced to promote the show, which Pancho promises will feature interviews with celebrities, as well as restaurant reviews.

In September 2012, Campo, who was associated with a scandal concerning US-based wine critic Jay Miller and resigned from the Institute of Masters of Wine, spoke candidly to db about his past treatment and future plans.
