db‘s Andy Young adds hops to a “Brewers’ Creation” beer at the Wadworth brewery in Devizes. The brewer has its own microbrewery on the premises, which it uses for small craft beers and trials. The brewing team are coming up with one “Brewers’ Creation” beer each month, and db was delighted to be a part of this month’s elderflower beer.
A farrier works on one of the Wadworth brewery shire horses in Devizes. The horses are used for local deliveries as well as shows. The horseshoes are replaced on average once a month and Prince, the horse being shod in this photo, seemed more interested in his food than his pedicure.
The fermentation tanks in Wadworth’s microbrewery, which the company says is “the same as our normal brewery, but 120 times smaller.” The elderflower beer that db worked on is currently fermenting in tank number one and will be checked by head brewer, Brian Yorston, on Sunday.
Belvedere Vodka hosts an evening at One Marylebone, London to launch its new illuminated bottle, which is now available on every 175cl Belvedere Vodka bottle.
Each 175cl Belvedere Vodka bottle now comes with a single use LED encased in waterproof plastic, which will fully light up the bottle when switched on and will be available to both the on- and off-trade.
