Sud-Ouest wines extends Comptoir Gascon offer

The pop-up selection of South West France wines at Comptoir Gascon is to extend its offer due to high demand.

Having opened in April, the aim of the pop-up is to introduce consumers to the wines of the South West of France through tastings and food pairings and Comptoir Gascon, which specialises in dishes from the region, was a natural choice of venue in which to do so.

The collection of 90 wines, a selection of which is chosen each week, will now be offered to customers at dinner as well as lunch.

Paul Fabre, director of the Interprofession des Vins du Sud-Ouest, said: “There really has been a fantastic response from consumers which is why we’ve extended the offer to dinner customers as well as lunch. Many have commented on the quality and value for money of the wines being sampled.

“Our aim is that the Maison des Vins du Sud-Ouest becomes the place to go to for South West wines. As well as the wine samples available to customers for free, we are also running trade tastings and events throughout the year.”
