Campari calendar girls up close

We have put together a photographic tour of Campari’s calendar girls – and one bloke – following news Penelope Cruz is to star in 2013’s calendar.

The Spanish actress will be captured by Paris-based fashion photographer, Kristian Schuller, for this, the fourteenth Campari calendar.

Other famous women who have adorned the pages of the calendar include Salma Hayek, Eva Mendes and Jessica Alba.

“The Campari Calendar consistently works with talented and creative teams and photographers to produce world-class imagery,” said Penelope Cruz.

“I have really enjoyed working in this project for one of the world’s most iconic brands, particularly with such an amazing history attached to it,” she added.

On his shooting of the 2013 Campari Calendar, Kristian Schuller said: “Photographing the 2013 Campari Calendar is simply incredible and a totally unique challenge.

Continuing he said, “My intention was to continue this story of success by pushing the boundaries even further which I feel we have achieved.”

The final imagery from the calendar and the 2013 theme will be unveiled at an event to in Milan in autumn.

Penelope’s sister Monica is to be the new face of lingerie brand Agent Provocateur

News of Penelope’s tie-up with Campari was announced just ahead of news that her younger sister Monica is to be the new face of lingerie brand Agent Provocateur.

The campaign sees Monica pictured in London’s House of Detention among chains.

Campari Calendar 2012 – starring Milla Jovovich

 

 

Called “It’s the end of the world, baby!” – the 2012 calendar was captured by photographer Dimitri Daniloff and featured American model, actress and designer Milla Jovovich.

Campari Calendar 2011 – starring Benicio del Toro

 

The 2011 calendar was photographed by Michel Comte and dubbed The Red Affair. It featured, unusually, a man: Puerto Rican actor and film producer Benicio del Toro (centre).

Campari Calendar 2010 – starring Olga Kurylenko

 

 

Simone Nervi photographed the 2010 calendar capturing former Bond girl and model Olga Kurylenko.

Campari Calendar 2009 – starring Jessica Alba

 

 

This calendar was shot by renowned photographer Mario Testino in Malibu and featured American actress Jessica Alba.

 

Campari Calendar 2008 – starring Eva Mendes

 

 

The 2008 edition was photographed by Marino Parisotto and dubbed “Campari Tales”. Like 2009’s calendar, it featured an American actress, using Eva Mendes.

 

Campari Calendar 2007 – starring Salma Hayek

 

 

The 2007 Calendar was called “Hotel Campari” and was photographed, like the 2009 edition, by Mario Testino. Mexican-American film actress and director Salma Hayek was the subject.

Campari Calendar 2006 – starring Martina Colombari

 

This was captured by Italian photographer Giovanni Gastel and featured actress and former Miss Italia Martina Colombari in vintage Moschino clothes.

Campari Calendar 2005 – starring Elena Rosenkova

Photographer Giovanni Gastel was used to capture supermodel Elena Rosenkova for the 2005 calendar.

Campari Calendar 2004 – starring Carolina Bittencourt

 

Photographed by Pierpaolo Ferrari, the 2004 calendar featured Brazilian fashion model Carolina Bittencourt.

 

Campari Calendar 2003 – starring Magda Gomes

 

2003’s edition featured Brazilian model and television personality Magda Gomes. It was photographed by Stefano Gilera.
