Diageo launches Guinness snacks
By Martin CrummyDiageo is to tap into the growing UK snack market by launching a range of Guinness branded “gourmet” peanuts and cashews.
The snacks – “Guinness gourmet peanuts and cashews” – will launch next week in Sainsbury’s at the premium price of £1.49 per pack.
Diageo has tried in the past to take Guinness from the pub into the supermarket food shelves.
