Stella Artois crowns Draught Master

Jonathan Crow of the Lamb Tavern in Leadenhall Market, London, has been crowned the UK Stella Artois Draught Master.

Crow, who will now represent the UK at the World Draught Master Championship, produced a near-perfect pour and wowed judges with his beer knowledge and beer passion.

He walked away from the final, held at the Design Museum in London, with a cheque for £500 and £2,500 prize money for his pub. If he wins the grand final, Crow will travel the world as the Stella Artois global ambassador.

"It is great that bar staff are getting recognised," he said. "It is the people who make a consumer’s pub experience, so I’m welcoming and friendly and help the customers as much as possible."

Devin Ringham of the Village East came in second place winning a cash prize of £200 and £1,000 for the outlet while, in third place, a cash prize of £100 and £600 for the Museum Tavern went to Cindy Kullye.
