Former Castel UK MD takes Sopexa top spot
Anne Burchett has been appointed Sopexa’s managing director for its UK and Ireland offices.
Burchett, who started her new role this week, was previously managing director at Castel UK.
She reports to Charles Collard, regional managing director for UK, Ireland and Benelux, who has relocated from London to the Sopexa Group head office in Paris.
Burchett brings with her over twenty years’ experience of both the British and French wine industries. Aside from her role at the helm of Castel UK, she has been sales and marketing director at Vinival; director of sales at Waverley TBS, and UK sales and marketing director at Skalli Fortant de France.
“We are delighted to announce Anne’s appointment. She is a well known and well respected figure in the British wine industry, and brings enormous commercial and marketing expertise to the company,” commented Collard.
Burchett added: “I am delighted to join Sopexa, and I look forward to my new role with great enthusiasm.
"My mission is to consolidate Sopexa’s market leadership position in the promotion of French food and wine products on the UK market, as well as to attract new clients.”
