Wild Idol reveals ‘Cityscapes to Countryside Escapes’ campaign

Whether sipping in the city or enjoying cocktails in the country, Wild Idol’s summer partnerships ensure that the UK’s top venues have a naturally alcohol-free serve.

Even before July got underway, 2026 had proved itself to be an unusually sweltering summer. Any idea of mellow spring-like late evenings has been extinguished – the season is already in full swing.

That, of course, means different things to different people. For some, the height of summer mandates escaping to cooler countryside climes at every occasion. For others, it is the season where cities come alive, full of culture, sports and events. Then there are those who split the difference: they will stay in town, but find the breezy terraces and open vistas that offer a sense of space.

The manifold possibilities of a British summer are at the heart of Wild Idol’s latest campaign, ‘Cityscapes to Countryside Escapes’. The naturally alcohol-free sparkling has carefully chosen luxury partners to ensure Wild Idol is on the bar however people spend their summer.

“Our ‘Cityscapes to Countryside Escapes’ summer programme has been designed to place Wild Idol at some of the UK’s most iconic hospitality and lifestyle events and destinations,” says CEO Paul Beavis, “demonstrating that choosing not to drink alcohol should never mean compromising on the glamour, taste, or experience of a great British summer celebration.”

Indeed, the wine alternative may be ideally suited to the season. As a blend of quality grape juice – selected much as you would for a premium sparkling wine – and natural ingredients for balance, Wild Idol is never fermented and so is completely alcohol free.

When the mercury rises, a cool sparkling option is often what you crave, but alcohol’s dehydrating effect can leave you feeling worse for wear in the heat. Wild Idol’s partnerships ensure there is an option without the alcohol for when the heatwave hits some of the UK’s top venues.

All occasions covered

As a sporting perennial, Wimbledon is central to the British summer, and the fact that it encourages strawberries, cream and refreshing drinks does not hurt its popularity. Wild Idol is kicking off its summer season with a number of bespoke pours at Azzurra Chelsea from 27 June.

The tennis-themed collaboration sees Wild Idol use in both alcohol-free and classic spritzes so that the entire party can enjoy it. For instance, the Honey P-Deuce sees Wild Idol top a refreshing blend of Ketel One, Everleaf Forest, and Allora lemon cordial, while the Second Serve combines it with Everleaf Forest, rosemary, and buckthorn cordial for a garden-scented spritz.

Across the summer and around the country, Wild Idol will also feature at Smoked & Uncut Festivals at The Pig Hotels. These laid-back celebrations of good food and good music will have dedicated bars for spritzes and signature serves. The season takes the programme to Hampshire, Devon and Kent.

Moving into July, Wild Idol Sparkling Rosé will feature as part of Pillar Hall’s rosé season. This puts Wild Idol at the centre of one of London’s most exciting new cultural developments. Pillar Hall is the food and drink hub at Olympia, which now hosts a leading music venue in addition to its exhibition hall.

To round off the season, Wild Idol will bring its signature pink bubbles and spritzes to The Ivy restaurants. From July, it will be poured across the group as part of its rosé season. Its terraces will provide respite from the heat with the refined sparkling, while The Ivy Chelsea Garden stands out as a flower-filled oasis, the perfect spot to take it slow, sip a Wild Idol spritz and enjoy all the season has to offer.
