Are these the 10 best beer gardens in the US?
Ranking the US’s best beer gardens is a much-debated topic. Many well-known locations often make the cut. But what makes a venue stand out?

A selection of America’s best beer gardens, some of which gained a place in top 10 lists across the country, have been assessed on factors such as atmosphere, beer selection and overall experience. But, according to experts, there are a whole host of ways venues hoping to meet the grade can raise their game.
Speaking about how operators can broaden their reach, experts assessed how many hospitality businesses with outdoor space have started to partner with breweries to offer exclusive and limited-edition beers, as well as hosting tap takeovers and beer launches.
Other elements that have helped venues have been the rise in places implementing eco-friendly initiatives, such as using compostable cups and utensils, recycling spent grains as well as sourcing ingredients locally to appeal to consumers. This has largely been useful as it has given sites something extra to market and talk about to draw in more people.
Added to this, other ideas boosting appeal are the operators offering beer tasting flights, guided beer pairings with food, and brewery tours to educate guests about different beer styles and brewing techniques and amplify the whole experience of visiting the beer garden.
The top 10 list offered up by The Most 10 along with its assessment is below, each with a range of reasons for how the venues have maximised their appeal for all. USA Today has also curated a list, while in the UK, the top 10 beer gardens in London were identified by db earlier in the year.
