Can one brand simplify Portugal for UK wine drinkers?
Esporão will launch its ‘Nós Somos’ range in Morrisons, bringing together wines from three regions under one label in a bid to simplify Portugal for UK shoppers and engage the next generation of wine drinkers.

Portuguese producer Esporão is set to launch a new UK-specific wine range in Morrisons, bringing together three of the country’s key regions under a single brand.
The four-strong ‘Nós Somos’ range will land in stores and online from early April 2026, following development tailored specifically to UK consumers and backed by consumer research.
One brand, three regions

The range includes a Vinho Verde white, a red from the Douro, and both a red and white from the Alentejo, each with an RRP of £10.
Designed to stand out on shelf, the wines position Esporão as the only Portuguese producer currently offering wines from three distinct regions under one brand in the UK market.
The move comes despite Portugal ranking among the Nielsen Top 10 countries of origin in the UK off-trade (Nielsen, Dec 2025), yet still lacking a single premium producer with strong brand recognition among UK consumers.

With a contemporary look and focus on quality winemaking, the release is aimed at younger, more adventurous drinkers familiar with Portugal as a travel destination and seeking accessible premium options.
Built for clarity and discovery
Esporão, one of the largest organic wine producers in the world, developed the concept in collaboration with London-based consultancy Anew. The name ‘Nós Somos’, meaning ‘we are’, is intended to reflect the identity and culture of the three regions represented.
Visual identity and art direction were led by Studio Parr, with labels created by Portuguese landscape painter Abel Mota. Each design reflects its region, from the greenery of Vinho Verde to the terraced vineyards of the Douro and the plains of the Alentejo.

Rolling out in April
The full range — Vinho Verde, Douro Red, Alentejano Red and Alentejano White — will be available in Morrisons stores and online from early April 2026, priced at £10 RRP.
