Once overlooked, fortified wines are now enjoying a revival with fresh styles and modern pairings. This competition offers producers the chance to reach new audiences and win recognition from the industry’s most respected judges.

From Sherry- and Port-based cocktails to gastronomic pairings with Marsala and Madeira, now is the time to be part of the change. Enter The Global Fortified Masters 2025 before 24th September and show the world just how fantastic your wines are.

This competition offers fortified wines the chance to break free from their traditional image and showcase their incredible diversity of styles to a new generation of wine lovers.

In September, a panel of expert judges, comprised of Masters of Wine, Master Sommeliers and senior buyers, will gather to taste entries blind, ensuring wines are assessed purely on style and price. Any fortified wine is welcome, from Sherry and Madeira to Port and Vins Doux Naturels.

The best wines will be awarded medals from Bronze through to Gold, with Master reserved only for the most exceptional. Results will be published in the October issue of the drinks business magazine and online, providing valuable recognition and exposure to thousands of professionals and enthusiasts.
