#WeekInPictures: sculpted sips and sparkling scenes
From artisanal Spanish reds to English wine collaborations and Birmingham pop-ups, here’s what caught our eye this week in drinks.
LoAlto’s soulful Spanish expressions

At 600 metres above sea level, LoAlto’s ancient Bobal vines are crafting intense, contemplative wines with structure, spice and smoky finesse. Meanwhile, the Guindal and Álamos parcels reveal garnacha and garnacha blanca of elegance and terroir-driven complexity. These expressions, along with Tardana and classic Garnacha bottlings, show a vibrant yet refined style rooted in Valencia’s diverse soils.
I heart wines turns up the fun

I heart wines hit Birmingham’s Bullring with a vibrant ‘Get Ready with I heart’ pop-up hosted by Liberty Poole. With makeovers, wine samples and goodie bags, the activation embodied I heart’s mission: to bring wine into real, joyful moments and connect with Gen Z on their terms.
Palmer & Co showcases vintage progression

Champagne Palmer unveiled its Blanc de Blancs 2018 at Pavyllon, Four Seasons London, with MD Rémi Vervier guiding guests through a mini-vertical tasting including 1985, 1995 and 2013 iterations — a compelling showcase of the house’s signature chalk-driven purity.
