Marble Brewery launches into China
By Eloise FeildenSalford-based brewery Marble has shipped its craft beers to Mainland China for the first time, making its brews available in 18 cities across the country.
Marble will now be available in China for the first time after the brewery shipped three pallets of its beers to the country a few weeks ago. The beers are destined for 18 cities across China via North Isle Trading, a Chinese company based in Manchester which has partnered with Marble to bring its beers to the Mainland market.
Marble announced on Instagram:“We’re chuffed to announce that Marble Beers can be found across 18 cities in China!
“We’ve teamed up with North Isle Trading to help us distribute our core classics and big specials from Beijing to Shanghai and beyond!”

Other cities included in the line-up are Changsha, Dalian, Chengdu, Guangzhou and Qingdao.
Fan favourites including Manchester Bitter and Earl Grey IPA are among the beers that will be available in the Chinese market. Marble has shipped a total of 14 beers to its latest market.
The brewery, which began life in Manchester pub The Marble Arch before expanding in 2019 to a site in Salford, already exports to Japan and to other countries in Europe including Italy, Finland, Sweden, Belgium and Holland.
Paul Plowman, the company’s sales director, told Salford Now that China is the fastest growing craft beer market in the world.
