Eight of London’s best chefs will be coming together for a one-off gala dinner in support of industry charity Hospitality Action this November.

The Winter Chefs’ Dinner, taking place on Monday 6 November at Nobu Hotel London Portman Square, will involve eight acclaimed chefs from the London restaurant scene: Jason Atherton (chef patron of The Social Company), Tom Booton (executive chef of The Grill by Tom Booton at The Dorchester), Claire Clark (chef patron of Pretty Sweet), Adam Handling (chef patron of Frog by Adam Handling), Anna Haugh (executive head chef and owner of Myrtle Restaurant), Atul Kochhar (chef patron of Kanishka by Atul Kochhar), Ben Murphy (chef patron of Launceston Place), and Vivek Singh (executive chef and CEO of The Cinnamon Collection).

Atherton, Singh and Kochhar are Hospitality Action chef patrons.

Singh commented: “I’m delighted to support Hospitality Action as having spent a lifetime in our incredible sector, this is the most welcoming and supportive of fraternities. Every now and again, our own may fall on hard times and may need to be supported; Hospitality Action do just that.”

While the menu for the night has not been disclosed yet, there will a canapé and drinks reception followed by a four course feast with wine served throughout. There will also be a prize draw of exclusive experiences and overnight stays to raise funds for Hospitality Action, which seeks to support those in the hospitality industry, especially those affected by the cost of living crisis. From 2020 to 2022, Hospitality action awarded close to £460,000 to households in London.

Haugh said: “I want to play my part in raising crucial funds for this industry charity. The atmosphere in the kitchen is sure to be electric. Hospitality Action works to support people from our industry in their time of need and I am proud to be giving a helping hand.”

Tickets for dinner cost £150 per person and can be purchased at this link.
