Algorithm-based wine subscription company FirstLeaf has revealed the 10 most generous states in America when it comes to giving wine as a gift.
With the countdown to Christmas now well and truly on, you’re probably starting to think about what to buy for your nearest and dearest this festive season.
According to first-party data from US-based wine subscription service FirstLeaf, 10 states rank above the rest when it comes to being the most generous wine gift-givers in America.
Washington, DC tops the list of the most generous wine gift-giving states in America, with New York rounding out the top 10.

- Pennsylvania
- Massachusetts
- Maine
- Connecticut
- New York
Note: by law, Mississippi, Rhode Island, and Utah are non-ship states and thus were not included in the rankings.
