This week in the world of drinks: saluting our Trivento Golden Reserve prize draw winner, HRH, The Prince of Wales visits Copper Rivet Distillery, and Della Vite partners with the newly-opened Flowerhouse Pub to offer free Prosecco.

We salute the winner of our Trivento Golden Reserve prize draw, Phillip Reese, who won a case of Trivento Golden Reserve recently by taking part in our competition.

On 2 February, HRH, The Prince of Wales visited the Copper Rivet Distillery on the banks of the river Medway in Chatham, Kent.

The Prince of Wales officially opened the site back in 2017, and returned in 2022 to celebrate the launch of the third whisky in Copper Rivet Distillery’s new trio of quintessentially English Masthouse whiskies.

Delle Vite Prosecco is encouraging people to tear up the rule book this Valentine’s Day by reconnecting with friends. As such, the brand is teaming up with the newly-opened Flowerhouse Pub on Chiltern Street in London to offer a complimentary glass of Prosecco from Saturday 12th – Monday 14th February.

Australian wine brand The Hidden Sea has hit a major milestone on its journey to remove and recycle one billion bottles from the ocean by 2030.

The brand announced that it has removed over 10 million single-use plastic bottles from the ocean in the space of just 18 months.

And Dr. Nicolás Catena Zapata has become the first South American vintner to Receive Wine Enthusiast’s Lifetime Achievement Award.

Dr. Nicolás Catena Zapata of Catena Zapata winery, received the Lifetime Achievement Award at the 22nd Annual Wine Enthusiast Wine Star Awards held last night at the Eden Roc Hotel in Miami.
