A TikTok user who goes by the name alidspicexo on the video sharing platform has gone viral after revealing the hefty amount of money she earned in tips during a four-hour shift, though some commenters accused her of not being grateful for the smaller amounts of money some customers purportedly left.

The video shows the woman going through the tips she made table by table, with the video captioned “YES we r grateful we also work our [butts] off!!”.

Many people were left stunned at the amount she made during a relatively short shift, however others seemed to think that she did not show enough gratitude for the smaller amounts some tables left.

All in all, alidspicexo made some US$521 during her four-hour shift, as totted up by Mail Online.

“[That’s] it i’m working at hooters,” one commenter wrote, while a second added, “Not me having two masters degrees and wishing I worked at hooters instead of being a teacher…(kidding I love my job… I just don’t get paid decent)”.

Another Hooters waitress actually took to the comments to tell people that this wasn’t necessarily a typical day at the office. “[I] work at hooters & make 100-200 a shift. it ain’t like this everywhere y’all,” she wrote.

Meanwhile, others still seemed to take umbrage at the fact that the waitress didn’t seem so excited by some of the smaller amounts tipped.

“Raging about a $5 tip be lucky to get any tip in uk,” one commenter wrote, while a second added, “Acting like $11 is a bad tip” accompanied by a face-palm emoji.

Last year, Hooters came under fire after it revealed a new uniform that was blasted by staff members as “disturbing” and “sexist”. You can read more on that here.
