Chateau La Grace Dieu des Prieurs partners with Lymited on Bordeaux Chardonnay

Digital luxury platform Lymited has partnered with Chateau La Grace Dieu des Prieurs to retail 10 bottles of its Cuvée Elena Bordeaux Chardonnay in the UK.

The wine is available exclusively in magnums, with proceeds from the collaboration being donated to children’s hospital Great Ormond Street. For every bottle sold, €1,000 will be donated to the hospital.

Named after the wife of Chateau La Grace Dieu des Prieurs’s owner, Andrei Filatov, Cuvée Elena is produced from a one-hectare plot of Chardonnay vines in Saint-Emilion on Bordeaux’s Right Bank.

Developed by winemaker Louis Mitjaville, Cuvée Elena 2019 is the first commercial Chardonnay to be released from the Saint-Emilion commune.

With a bespoke bottle created by French glassmaker Waltersperger, the unusual wine received a Gold medal in db’s Global Chardonnay Masters 2020.

The wine will be available on Lymited.com when the site launches this summer, priced at £1,300 a bottle.

In addition to fine wines and spirits, Lymited will also sell high-end jewellery, rare watches, fine art and sports cars.
