Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson appears to down ‘half a bottle’ of Tequila without flinching

Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson – known for many things, including his superhuman physique – managed to leave his millions of followers astonished when he appeared to down half a bottle of Tequila. But was all as it seemed?

Dwayne ‘The Rock Johnson is a man of many talents: wrestling, acting, bodybuilding, producing, downing Tequila…

Ok, maybe he’s not strictly known for that last one, but he certainly got tongues wagging with his apparent ability to knock down several shots of his own brand Teremana Tequila in a recent TikTok video.

The movie star was responding to a challenge from TikTok user Fia James (@fiajames_) who threw the gauntlet down to her followers to down a shot of Tequila without making a face.

“You know what? You’re not that hard. Take a shot of tequila without making a face. Bet you can’t, b****.” She said.

And The Rock, being The Rock, dutifully pulled off the feat, not once but several times.

However, all may not have been exactly as it seemed in the now-viral video clip. Fans, first amazed at his feat, swiftly began accusing the Hollywood actor of substituting Tequila for water in the bottle. And they may have actually had a point, as The Rock captioned his Instagram version of the video with the hashtag “bottlefullofwater”.
