Ehrmanns brand ups advertising push with cricket sponsorship

Ehrmanns’ ‘Beefsteak Club’ brand is sponsoring the current one-day international cricket series between England and South Africa as part of a wider television-based advertising push.

The brand is sponsoring the LED perimeter boards at the grounds where the next match will be played – although the start is currently delayed due to players testing positive for Covid-19.

The match is estimated to draw a television audience of around two million when it does finally go ahead.

The perimeter board adverts will tie in with the rand’s national television campaign which launched on 1 December and includes spots on Sky Sports where the cricket is being aired.

Keith Lay, head of marketing at Ehrmanns, said: “Having worked with the Barmy Army over the summer to promote Beefsteak Club, sponsoring the perimeter advertising is a great way of getting our message across to the two million England fans who will watch the games live on Sky Sport and many others who will see the boards on all the sports news coverage.”
