Vinexpo NY to host webinar on South African wine
Drinks trade show Vinexpo New York is set to host a webinar highlighting the opportunities in South African wine on 15 September.
The webinar, presented by managing director of Wines of South Africa USA, Jim Clarke, will look at how the country’s wines are carving out a new spot in the US market.
Clarke, a wine journalist and former sommelier, is the author of the recently-published book The Wines of South Africa, which is part of the Classic Wine Library series.
The discussion will be moderated by Marjorie Ferris, sales manager at Diversified Communications for Vinexpo New York.
From the “industry standard-bearer” Chenin Blanc, the webinar will explore South Africa’s most popular wine styles and examine the opportunities they offer retailers, wholesalers and importers.
