5StarWines prepares to launch The Book 2021
Vinitaly organiser Veronafiere has held its annual blind wine tasting 5StarWines & Wine Without Walls over Zoom, with the winners due to feature in 5StarWines – the Book 2021.
The online competition saw 52 international judges assess 2,100 samples from over 700 companies, finally whittling down the selection to 847 wines.
These bottles will feature in 5StarWines – the Book 2021 and will also be the subject of marketing activities such as social media promotion, focused interviews, and press coverage.
While the event and promotional schedule is not yet finalised, 5StarWines & Wine Without Walls recently collaborated with the Italian Wine Podcast on a series of eight episodes featuring interviews with prize winners.
Other events will include an award ceremony, organised by Veronafiere, as well as networking opportunities and forums held as part of the Wine2Wine show this winter.
The book will be available online and in paperback formats and will feature all wines and wineries that received a score of 90 points and over.
