As reported by the New York Post, under age drinkers have been posting videos of their Mrs Doubtfire-inspired disguises on social media platform TikTok. A number of videos of teenagers scoring booze at liquor stores while disguised as octogenarians have racked up millions of views.

One TikTok video with over 1.5m views depicts a girl with drawn on wrinkles and a Zimmer frame clutching a booze-filled plastic bag in California.

The New York Post reports that she wasn’t asked for ID, and that the shop owner was worried she wouldn’t be able to manage carrying the bottles.

Another TikTok video features a teenage girl wearing a rubber mask, gray wig, glasses and headscarf – a disguise aided by the use of a blue facemask and gloves. In her disguise she managed to buy cans of sparkling alcoholic fruit drink Four Loko from a liquor store.
