Though bars in Scotland won’t reopen for a few more weeks, you can still catch a glimpse of one of Edinburgh’s most acclaimed cocktail haunts.

Award-winning bar Panda & sons has partnered with drinks group Campari to offer paying customers a virtual seat at the bar this weekend.

Guests will also be a performance from a world-famous circus performer during their virtual session.

The experience, which includes ingredients to make a classic Negroni at home, and two bespoke pre-made cocktails from the partner bars menu, are priced at £20 per person.

South American wine group Santa Rita Estates has started hosting weekly virtual wine tastings with former Arsenal players to mark the return of the Premier League.

Santa Rita’s winemaker Óscar Salas will link up with Arsenal legend and pundit Alex Scott MBE to discuss the championship so far, as well as sample wines from the Santa Rita portfolio.

Viewers will also have a chance to win a signed Arsenal shirt, and a bottle of Santa Rita’s 120 Arsenal Edition Wine.

The catch-up will take place the day after Arsenal’s match with Southampton, and will be featured over Santa Rita’s and Scott’s own Instagram stories, broadcasted this Friday 26 June, at 8pm CET and 7pm BST.

View to the River Danube and “Weissenkirchen an der Donau” – Austria

If you want to learn more about Austria’s wine industry this weekend, six sommeliers from Russia’s wine scene will join a virtual round-table discussion to share stories about their love of Austrian wine, and some unique stories behind the bottles.

For rum fans, the Duppy Share, will be bringing a taste of the tropics to London by dropping off 1,000 pineapples to doorsteps around the city in celebration of National Pineapple Day (yes, that is a thing).

Every Londoner who receives a pineapple will be entitled to a free bottle of The Duppy Share’s newly launched Spiced Rum.

Of the 1,000 pineapples being handed out, 50 will be golden. Anyone who gets their hands on one of these will receive a Home Piña Colada kit.

English wine week ends on 28 June, so be sure to get as many perks as you can before it’s all over.

Today, Sarah Abbott MW and Oz Clarke will be exploring the intricacies of English sparkling wines in a webinar with Swirl Wine Group.

Clarke will tell Abbott why he wanted to write this book now, why, in particular, the Classic Method sparkling wines of Great Britain are getting so much attention, and what’s next for English and Welsh wine.

If you’re craving a barbecue this weekend, Bacardi is hosting a free online masterclass as part of its new partnership with London restaurant Berber and Q.

The workshop will be led by Bacardi UK brand ambassador Metinee Kongsrivilai and Berber and Q’s head chef Josh Katz, who will give viewers a step-by-step guide on meat marinating and grilling, as well as cocktail shaking and glass filling.

AB InBev-owned brewer Camden Town has launched a new beer designed to support pubs when they reopen.

Called To The Pub, the pale ale will be available to buy from our Camden web shop from Friday 26 June, and at selected retailers and convenience from July.

All proceeds from sales of To The Pub cans will be used to fund the production of kegs we’ll be giving to pubs for free.
