Bonhams to offer top Napa wines in SF

Bonhams San Francisco is offering a large array of fine and rare Californian wines at its next sale this month.

Taking place on 14 June, the sale will feature over 500 lots of fine wines, including many from California.

Featuring Californian wines from every decade since the 1970s, highlights include 1978 Diamond Creek Lake Vineyard Cabernet Sauvignon, 1974 Heitz Cellar Martha’s Vineyard Cabernet Sauvignon, 2010 Harlan Estate, 2013 Ridge ‘Monte Bello’, 2004 Dominus and 2016 Screaming Eagle.

Specialist Christine Ballard, commented: “We have gathered together a superb selection of vintages especially from California such as the 1978 Diamond Creek Lake Vineyard Cabernet Sauvignon, which is the first vintage of this vineyard and considered the best bottling.

“This strong sale also includes top rate Burgundies and Bordeaux from Château Latour and Château Lafite Rothschild.”
