Haut-Brion to join PFV

Domaine Clarence Dillon, owner of Haut-Brion, is to join the winery association Primum Familiae Vini, joining the likes of Pol Roger and Symington Family Estates.

Domaine Clarence Dillon counts Haut-Brion, La Mission Haut-Brion and Château Quintus in its portfolio as well as fine wine shop and two Michelin-starred restaurant Le Clarence in Paris.

It has been owned by the Dillon family for four generations with the current head of the company being Prince Robert of Luxembourg (pictured).

PFV is an association of independent family-owned wineries from around the world. With the addition of Domaine Clarence Dillon its complement stands at 12.

Hubert de Billy, of Champagne Pol Roger and president of PFV, said: “I am delighted that Prince Robert and his family are joining us. He brings a great family tradition with him and his wines are amongst the best in the world. We welcome a wonderful family and we look forward to sharing some memorable bottles and experiences together.”

The 12 members of PFV are: Marchesi Antinori, Joseph Drouhin, Egon Muller Scharzhof, Famille Hugel, Familia Torres, Baron Philippe de Rothschild, Famille Perrin, Tempos Vega Sicilia, Tenuta San Guido, Symington Family Estates, Pol Roger and Domaine Clarence Dillon.
