Guests at this year’s Wine & Spirits Show, taking place this Friday and Saturday, can sample newly-released sparkling English rosé and three different Welsh whiskies from Penderyn.

As part of this year’s Wine & Spirits Show (12 and 13 October) guests can sample the latest releases in both wines and spirits, launched within the last 12 months.

Joining those already announced will be Digby Fine English with its Vintage Rosé 2014. Also on pour will be a new white port from Martins de Sá, HMS Spirits’ Mary Rose Gin, and XECO’s Amontillado and Fino sherries.

The Wine Hall will also feature the Global Masters Zone, showcasing the top medal-winning wines judged throughout the years in the drinks business Global Masters Series. Joining the line-up is Marques de Caceres with its award-winning wines including its Gran Reserva which received a Gold medal.

The Spirits Hall will feature everything from gin and whisky to Tequila, rum and Mezcal, with Amber Glen Scotch and Angus Dundee Distillers already set to take part. This hall will also host The Spirits Masters Zone, which will be manned by The Spirits Business team and showcase the Spirits Masters competition medallists.

Among those producers due to be exhibiting will be Gold-medal winning Slane Irish whiskey, three different Welsh whiskies from Penderyn ( Penderyn Madeira (Gold); Penderyn Port wood (Silver); Penderyn Sherry wood (Gold)) and Old Ballantruan 15 Year Old Scotch, which picked up a rare Master medal, the top accolade, in its category.

The Wine & Spirits Show will be held in the heart of London at One Whitehall Place, part of the five-star Royal Horseguards hotel.

Organised by the drinks business and The Spirits Business, the event will target wine and spirits enthusiasts based in London, with around 2,000 members of the general public are expected to attend, alongside members wine and spirits trade.

As well as the Wine Hall and Spirits Hall (each with a New Products and Global Masters zone), the show will also feature the Great British Beer Tour Zone, offering guests the chance to sample a wide range of brews judged by our expert panel as part of the Global Beer Masters in August.

The event will open from 1pm to 9pm on Friday, and from 1pm to 8pm on Saturday. To register for the trade event, which will run from 1pm to 5pm on Friday, please click here.
