Man reviews beer through the power of lego

What could be better than beer? Beer and lego of course. The aptly named Beer Farts is an ingeniously simple Instagram account that reviews beer through the medium of lego.

Capturing craft brews alongside an appropriately humorous lego-based scene, the account now has nearly 30,000 followers.
Its creator, Tom Delcourt, said the idea was “quite accidental”, speaking to The Londonist, explaining that he had been bought a lego set as a joke and decided to picture it alongside a beer he happened to be drinking at the time.
“So many of my friends liked the post I did it again, and it went from there,” he said. “Here I am now with a kitchen full of beer and a living room full of Lego.”
The playful scenes accompanying each beer take inspiration from the name and design of each brew, with a lego character seemingly available to fit every occasion, from zombies and extraterrestrials to The Beatles, along with some notes on the beer’s flavour profile.
For example, this Garden of Eden watercolour-painted fruit IPA (left) comes from Denmark’s To Øl brewery. Picturing the arty can with a bearded painter, Delcourt wrote: “In the Garden of Eden, while Eve was busy going crazy and talking to snakes, Adam kept himself entertained with abstract watercolour painting. This one is of the gardens on a sunny day.”
