DFS Changi to offer unlimited number of duty-free wines

Panicked Christmas shoppers passing through Changi Airport can now buy unlimited bottles of wine from a specific collection at DFS, on top of Singapore’s existing duty-free allowance.

With prices starting from S$28 (HK$150), the special duty-paid collection includes 25 bottles of red, white and sparkling wines such as Bottega sparkling rose, Ferrari Brut, Ernest Rapeneau NV Champagne, Chateau Haut-Bonneau from Saint-Emilion, Chateau Ferran from Pessac-Leognan, Frescobaldi’s Lucente, Craggy Range’s Kidnapper Chardonnay and Nederburg’s Young Airhawk Sauvignon Blanc,

By absorbing all duty and taxes, DFS has enabled travelers to buy any number of bottles, on top of Singapore’s current duty-free allowance which is set at either a) one litre of spirits, one litre of wine and one litre of beer, b) two litres of wine and one litre of beer or c) or two litres of beer and one litre of wine.

Also for those spending more than S$300, DFS is offering free home delivery.

Capitalising no doubt on the frantic, pre-Christmas buying season and also for upcoming Chinese New Year (from 28-31 January 2017), DFS has extended the offer from now until 31 January, with a new collection planned for February-March 2017.
