Last chance to enter Rioja Masters 2016

the drinks business is taking final entries for its latest Masters competition: The Rioja Masters 2016, which seeks to recognise and reward the best wines from the region.

A panel of industry experts including MWs will judge the wines submitted in a blind tasting to discover the best wines from the Spanish region.

Billed as the biggest and most extensive blind tasting of Rioja this year, the competition is split into six categories: Joven, Crianza, Reserva, Gran Reserva, Vinos de autor and Rioja 15 years and older.

The competition – which closes on 2 November – is open to small and medium size producers, which will be judged alongside wines from larger companies.

The results and analysis will be published in the drinks business magazine, online, on social media and also in the db Hong Kong edition.
