Kozel trials ‘push for beer’ button

Czech beer brand Kozel is rolling out a ‘push for beer’ button that when pressed will call a taxi and take the user directly to the nearest Kozel-serving pub.

The buttons will be made available to competition winners, but will be rolled out more widely if successful.

Select beer fans will be able to get hold of a ‘Tap Out’ button by visiting the @Kozel_UK Twitter page and tagging a friend in a tweet using the #PushForPub.

Three ‘pushes’ will be granted to a number of winners, giving them the chance to claim three taxi journeys to their nearest Kozel pub and six pints.

When pushed, the button will automatically send a taxi direct to their location, picking up a friend along the way. Upon arrival at the pub, two pints will be waiting.

“Life’s little complications can sometimes get in the way of a good time”, said Chris McLardie, brand director for Kozel.

“Whether it is a cancelled train, a last minute 5:30pm meeting, or that report your boss requests as you walk out of the door, obstacles can derail our best-laid plans. The Kozel Tap Out button is your ultimate shortcut to good times, getting you and your friend to the pub in comfort and style. Push the button and you could be enjoying a delicious Kozel in minutes. No stress, no fuss, just fun.”

Kozel’s Tap Out’ buttons go on trial this week as part of a Twitter competition. If successful the scheme will be rolled out more widely. For more information on entering visit Kozel UK’s Twitter page.
