Aikens announces two new venues

British chef Tom Aikens has announced plans to open two new venues in his Tom’s Kitchen chain in the UK and Dubai towards the end of the year.

The two new sites will represent two firsts for the business, with the UK restaurant in Birmingham being the first to open outside of London and the Dubai venture being the first to open outside o the UK altogether.

The Birmingham venue will open this December at the city’s upmarket shopping centre, The Mailbox.

Aikens commented: “Birmingham is a vibrant and bustling city with a thriving food scene. There is already a wonderful array of restaurants in the city, and I believe that Tom’s Kitchen will offer an exciting new option for diners in The Mailbox development”.

A little earlier in the year, at the beginning of October, the Dubai venue will open at the Riverland parks and resorts.
