Owned by Gunseob Han, Nature Wine specializes in importing organic, biodynamic and natural wines from Europe, including Austria, Italy, Georgia, Spain and France.

Han, who graduated from Plumpton in 2011 with a Foundation Degree in Wine Production said he had “very fond memories of his studies at Plumpton” and wanted to start importing Plumpton’s own range, Plumpton Estate Cloudy Ridge of red, white and NV Brut to the South Korean wine market.

He said, “The aim of importing Plumpton wines is both to build the English wine brand and promote the Plumpton College courses.”

Plumpton College in East Sussex is the UK’s centre of excellence in wine education, training and research, and manages 9.5 hectares of vineyard in order to enable the students to gain vocational experience in wine production.

In 2015, Plumpton wines won two trophies, (including best small-production wine in the UK), two gold, a silver and three bronze medals in the English and Welsh Wine of the Year competition.
