Follador adds sparkle to Goya exhibition

Prosecco producer Follador is helping to add sparkle to the new Goya exhibition at The National Gallery in London as the official sparkling wine supplier.

Goya: The Portraits features 70 works from Francisco Goya, considered the most important Spanish artist of the Enlightenment era and one of the greatest portraitists of all time.

Curated by Xavier Bray, the works are taken from public and private collections around the world, some of which are being shown to the public for the first time.

Follador Prosecco was on pour at the launch of the exhibition, which will run until 10 January 2016. “Follador has been generous in providing Prosecco for the opening events for The National Gallery’s new exhibition Goya: The Portraits.

“The exhibition events were held in the Wohl Room, which contains many Venetian paintings and offers a perfect location to enjoy Follador Prosecco,” Natasha Halford, head of events at The National Gallery said.

“Our participation in this important event confirms our ability to represent the quality of the territory of Prosecco Superiore in the most prestigious circles.

Being close to an art event of such importance is part of the vocation and style Follador intends to express,” Cristina Follador, Follador’s sales and marketing director, added.

The brand was recently awarded Food Safety System Certification 22000 designed for manufacturers in the food sector that ensures compliance with the latest standards of hygiene safety. Earning the certification requires a series of inspections and on fulfillment of a rigorous set of requirements.

“The certification reflects our commitment to continuously improve our performance in line with the expectations of customers,” Cristina Follador said.
