Bibendum PLB to host charity auction

UK drinks supplier Bibendum PLB Group and events group Kings Place have teamed up to host a charity wine auction and dinner in support of Action Against Hunger.

Guests will be served a Champagne and a selection of canapés on arrival, followed by a four course dinner with each dish matched with two wines that will be served blind. The ‘Wine Options’ challenge will run over the course of the evening requiring each table to work as a team to identify the wines served during dinner. The winning table, correctly naming the highest number of wines, will be awarded with a great prize to be announced on the night.

A silent and live auction during and after dinner will also take place featuring prizes “linked to the world of food and drink”.

“Action Against Hunger is the Bibendum PLB Group’s company charity and, right now, is saving lives and changing futures for earthquake survivors in Nepal, and across the globe”, said Bibendum director Willie Lebus. “We hope that this evening will be a wonderful opportunity to gather friends and colleagues to help change the lives of people in need.”

The event will take place on the evening of 7 September at Kings Place in King’s Cross, and a table of ten will cost £1,500.
