Jeremy Rockett made MD of Marblehead

González Byass UK’s former marketing director, Jeremy Rockett, has been made managing director of Marblehead, the brand development arm of Quintessential Brands.

Rockett replaces Emma Wykes who has been a member of the Marblehead management team for the last six years.

A founding member of González Byass UK, which was set up in 2004, Rockett was marketing director of the company for a decade, looking after Spanish brands such as Tio Pepe, Beronia, Vilarnau, Viñas del Vero, Mattaromera and Fillaboa.

In addition, Rockett helped expand the company’s portfolio out of Spain, to include the likes of Quinta do Noval, Wirra Wirra, Jackson Estate and Undurraga.

“We’re delighted to welcome Jeremy to Marblehead and the Quintessential Brands Group.

“He brings a wealth of management experience to the group and his expertise working with the prestige on-trade fits perfectly with Marblehead’s plans for growth,” said Qunitessential Brands’ founder Warren Scott.

“We are grateful to Emma for leading Marblehead over the past two years, particularly during the company’s acquisition by the Quintessential Brands Group in July 2014, and we wish her well in her new venture,” Scott added.

Quintessential Brands was founded by Enzo Visone and Warren Scott. Within its portfolio are Marblehead, Essential Drinks, G&J Distillers and First Ireland Spirits.

Among its brands are Greenall’s, Bloom and Berkeley Square gin, Toussaint coffee rum liqueur, Feeney’s Irish cream liqueur and The Dubliner Irish whiskey.
