Hennessy extends stay of pop-up boutique

The House of Hennessy has announced its pop-up boutique at Heathrow’s Terminal 5 will stay open until the end of March following “extraordinary interest.”

Travellers will have one more month to enjoy the world’s first House of Hennessy pop-up boutique, its first outlet outside the Cognac, following its success over the last four months.

The boutique will continue to offer bespoke tastings and luxury travel retail expressions until 25 March – four weeks later than the original closure date of 24 February.

The pop-up store is manned by multilingual Hennessy trained staff who will continue to offer tastings of the range, plus the rare eaux-de-vies that are used to create Paradis Imperial.

It remains the only place place in the world, outside of Cognac, where consumers can taste these rare cognacs in this way.

Each traveller taking part receives a personalised Hennessy ‘certificate’ as a keepsake.

Limited edition products Hennessy VSOP Private Edition 4 and Hennessy Privé are also available from the boutique.

The House of Hennessy was founded by Irish aristocrat Richard Hennessy in 1765 who first founded an eaux-de-vie trading business in Cognac in 1765. Under his son James, the company expanded rapidly and the name Hennessy was later attached.

Today, Hennessy sells 50 million bottles a year with its V.S, V.S.O.P, Privilège, X.O, Paradis and Richard Hennessy serving as key expressions in its portfolio.
