Jacob’s Creek teams up with Jonathan Ross

Pernod Ricard UK has confirmed Jacobs Creek as the new sponsor of The Jonathan Ross Show on ITV.

The sponsorship package, which goes live on Saturday 18 August, will include online and mobile advertising, as well as a series of idents that will feature between adverts and at the start and end of each programme.

Patrick Venning, marketing director for Pernod Ricard UK, said, “The Jonathan Ross Show is a powerful and exciting association for Jacob’s Creek; Jonathan is a true character of television and the show is a natural fit with out brand philosophy. It gives us the opportunity to bring to life the brand in a credible and engaging way.”

Pernod Ricard said the show holds a “powerful opportunity” to promote the brand’s “True Character” philosophy, due to the high profile celebrities Ross interviews. The last series had an average of 3.4 million viewers, peaking at 4.9 million on 4 February 2012, when David Beckham appeared on the show.
