Goodwood signs wine partner

Corney & Barrow has agreed a two-year deal with Goodwood Estate to become the exclusive wine supplier for its venues and high profile events.

Home to the Dukes of Richmond for three centuries, the Sussex estate includes a hotel alongside several restaurants and each year draws crowds for events which range from golf tournaments and horse racing to the Festival of Speed and Goodwood Revival motor celebrations, as well as Vintage at Goodwood, a blend of retro fashion, music and film.

Goodwood members will also be able to take advantage of an exclusive wine club, managed by the London-based wine merchant. This bespoke service will reach from everyday wines to building a fine wine cellar portfolio. There will also be an extensive programme of events, winemaker dinners and exclusive parcels.

Explaining the tie-in, James Franklin, on-trade manager for Corney & Barrow, said: “The team at Goodwood are committed to making top quality, great value wine very much a key part of the Goodwood experience and we are really excited to be able to make that happen.”
