Frïs vodka relaunches with two new flavours

Frïs vodka, which is freeze distilled, has been relaunched by Absolut Vodka.

The vodka is created through a patented freeze-distillation. While most vodkas use heat to remove impurities, Frïs uses a continuous distillation process and then it is chilled to 14 F (-10C). The process allows impurities to be frozen and extracted.

To mark its relaunch, Frïs has created a new bottle design inspired by the brand’s geographic roots.

“We’re incredibly excited to reintroduce this innovative vodka to the US market,” said Dan Lundberg, global marketing director for Frïs.

“No other vodka is created in quite the same way as Frïs. Now it has a bottle that is just as unique.”

Frïs has also formulated two new Frïs flavours, Frïs Citrus Freeze and Frïs Orange Freeze.

The full range of flavours will be available in the US beginning in mid-July.

“There are many flavours out there but none give the shivering sensation of the new Frïs flavours,” said Maxime Kouchnir, vice president, Vodka, Pernod Ricard US.

“They take familiar flavours to a new level and add a refreshing edge to your favourite drinks.”
