Maxxium Hong Kong to change trading name

Maxxium Hong Kong, one of Hong Kong’s largest and most prolific wine and spirits distributors founded in 1999, is changing its name as of 1 April to become Edrington Hong Kong Limited reports Alasdair Nicol

The company will work in conjunction with the Edrington Group, the major private group in the Scottish whisky industry.

Edrington Hong Kong will continue to represent major spirits brands including those owned by The Edrington Group such as The Macallan, the “Rolls Royce of all single malt”, Highland Park and The Famous Grouse, the number one selling whisky in Scotland.

They will also continue with their successful wine trading operations, continuing to represent top selling brands from around the globe in Hong Kong including Italy’s Gaja, Spain’s Miguel Torres, Australian label Wolf Blass and Oyster Bay of New Zealand.

In a statement released to the drinks business the company said they are thrilled with the upcoming changes and are looking forward to continue to offer their valued business partners a collection of world class wines and spirits.

The company was also keen to announce that they are now the new distributors for the brand Skyy Vodka, one of the world’s premier vodkas ideal for mixing cocktails, an integral part of Hong Kong’s drinking culture.

Edrington Hong Kong will expand their office in Kowloon Bay to take on more space in order to enhance their customer service and now can be found at 1202-1209A Exchange Tower, 33 Wang Chiu Road, Kowloon Bay. Their contact number remains unchanged at 2891-8086.
