Sister venue for The Wolseley
The owners of The Wolseley in London have plans for a sister venue in the No 1 Kingsway development.
Jeremy King and Chris Corbin, the creators behind the original Piccadilly venture, signed the lease with the developer UK & European Investments to open another site in late autumn of next year.
The as-yet unnamed restaurant will apparently be a European-inspired brasserie and occupy 13,000 square feet of the 130,000 sq ft development on the corner of Kingsway and Drury Lane.
Barnaby Kelham, managing director of UK & European Investments, said: “In the way that The Wolseley has become a destination in Mayfair, we know with Corbin King that this new venture will become a destination restaurant for mid-town and theatre-land.”
