Sarah has headed up The Drinks Business since November 2021, and is responsible for commissioning, editing and writing longform features to ensure delivery of the latest news in drinks from a range of regions around the globe. Alongside managing db’s editorial team, Sarah works closely with the Union Press sales teams on commercial partnerships and opportunities.

Sarah has previously edited publications for a number of high-profile travel clients including Virgin Atlantic, Thomas Cook and easyJet, a former life which ties in seamlessly with drinks. She has scuba-dived to the ocean floor in Croatia to unearth wine from the country’s first underwater cellar, flown to Copenhagen to interview Noma’s craft beer sommelier and distilled local spirit Feni in Goa.
Before this, Sarah worked in senior editorial roles across the food and drink sector for Tesco, Morrisons and Weight Watchers magazines. She has experience in launching magazines from scratch, a pedigree in growing readerships and a knack for finetuning copy.
