On the occasion of Sebastian Labbé’s first visit to Hong Kong since he was appointed the Premium and Ultra Premium Winemaker of Viña Santa Rita earlier this year, he will conduct this unique masterclass showcasing 6 vintages of Casa Real, Santa Rita’s top wine known for its elegance, purity of fruit, fine-grained tannins.
Santa Rita’s Casa Real is a single vineyard wine based on 100% Cabernet Sauvignon, grown in Alto Jahuel, a unique terroir for Caberent Sauvignon.
In a recent interview with the drinks business, Labbé was quoted as saying that Chile needs to make wines that catch the eye of the world’s top sommeliers. At this masterclass, Hong Kong’s trade will learn firsthand Labbé’s ambitions for Casa Real and sample this vertical of vintages with this innovative and energetic winemaker who is working to inject viscosity and density into Santa Rita’s iconic wine.
