Wines of Rueda Masterclass
Bristol - Tuesday 17 September 2019

A fresh, aromatic, young style of white wine from north-west Spain, Rueda’s Verdejo is fast becoming the nation’s favourite in Spain – and now in the UK as sales continue to grow with a 45% increase in 2017 alone.

The wines from the 600-700m high plains are grown in sandy soil that’s disease resistant and provide very healthy vines due to extreme temperatures in winter and summer. The indigenous Verdejo grape produces wines with freshness, great fruitiness and with a characteristic touch of bitterness.

This masterclass will include young style wines and examples of barrel fermented, sur lie and old vine Verdejos.
