Founded in 1984, Torresella is set in the rolling hills between the Venice lagoons and the Adriatic sea coast. This wine, pale lime-green in colour, shows lime zest, cucumber and quince, with purity of expression. Light-bodied, the palate is bright with brisk acidity and delicacy of touch. A lovely wine for al fresco dining, with al dente spring vegetables and a green pea, mint and mascarpone quenelle. (Patricia Stefanowicz MW)
