Tasting notes:

The Ca’ Bolani Estate extends from the Grado Lagoon northwards towards Aquileia and comprises 570 hectares of vineyards with 90 diverse sub-plots and 900 cypress trees. The winery produces a wide range of excellent wines, and this one is genuinely great. Medium yellow-gold in hue, the wine demonstrates apricot and peach fruit, with acacia honey and yellow rose accents. Dry, but rich and intense, the palate is well-balanced by fresh acidity and a creamy texture. A chalky note adds further interest. The wine will be a good match for aubergine with white truffle oil, Parmesan and rocket.  (Patricia Stefanowicz)
