Located in the heart of Coal River Valley, about 20 minutes from Hobart, Riversdale Estate produces wines from the company’s own sustainably farmed vineyards. This example, pale peach-hued, has yellow peach and red cherry fruit with a powdery accent. Dry but sweet-fruited, the light-bodied palate shows excellent depth of flavour with bracing acidity and a juicy finish. A good pairing is steamed globe artichoke with dill mayonnaise.
