Tasting notes:

This wine comes from the historic estate vineyard adjacent to the 11th-century chapel with relics of Ste Roseline, giving it a wonderful history and exceptional terroir.  This wine, very pale vieux rose in hue, has dried cherry fruit and a delicate creamy oak undertone. Light-bodied and dry, the palate shows concentration of fruit, with fresh acidity in balance and leesy notes adding texture. Still young, the wine will nonetheless be a good complement to freshly caught river trout, seared in butter with a hint of mixed herbs.  (Patricia Stefanowicz MW)
